The Mediterranean bird is hand painted by a great traditional artisan who always improvises based on her inspiration of the moment and never draws exactly the same design.

This handmade pottery bowl is the result of three generations working together: The son and grandson create this delicate shape on the wheel, using high quality red clay. The Grandmother hand paints with "ploumistari" (old traditional improvising drawing tool rarely used today).
